Rosalía Arteaga at the 6th Global Baku Forum

.

In the city of Baku, Azerbaijan, the sixth edition of the “Global Baku Forum” was held on March 15, 16 and 17, organized by Nizami Ganjavi, a non-governmental entity whose main goals are: the preservation of heritage cultural, social research, and promote dialogue, learning and understanding between cultures and peoples.

 

The topic of this forum was “Bridging Gaps to create Inclusive Societies” or in Spanish “Bridging Gaps to create Inclusive Societies”. It was developed in order to be able to dialogue about the social gaps that exist in various nations around the world, how to achieve global inclusion in which economic differences can be reduced, fight against violence and the conflicts that it entails, spiritual isolation, deprivation intellectual and environmental degradation.

 

Internationally renowned figures such as presidents, former presidents, prime ministers, ambassadors, entrepreneurs, among others, participated in the meeting. And Ecuador, had as a representative in the Forum Rosalía Arteaga Serrano, president of the advisory council of Fundación FIDAL, and former Constitutional President of Ecuador.

 

Several panels were held to address subtopics such as: The new powers in international relations, forms of inclusive and equitable governance in politics at the global level, security and peace in the Middle East, interests of China's foreign policy objectives, among several others.

 

Today's leadership requires driving effective governance, to generate inclusion and overcome global dissent, which could stimulate unprecedented positive development for the global community.
