FIDAL and Varkey Foundation united for education

FIDAL Foundation signed on the afternoon of October 23, an agreement with the Varkey Foundation of the United Kingdom. As part of the signing of the agreement, Dr. Rosalía Arteaga as President of the FIDAL Foundation Advisory Council and Vikas Pota, Varkey Foundation Executive Chief, were present. The objective of this meeting ensures the participation of the winning teacher of the X Educational Excellence Contest within the Global Teacher Pirze carried out by the English organization.

The Varkey Foundation is a non-profit organization established to improve the standards of education around the world. To do this, it seeks to boost the capacities of the teacher and promote excellence in education. Every year, this entity carries out the Global Teacher Prize, which aims to reward, with the equivalent of one million dollars, the best teacher from around the world in a celebration full of art and culture held in Dubai.

A teacher has the ability to touch hundreds of lives day by day in classrooms. Thus, with the signing of this agreement, FIDAL Foundation and its Educational Excellence Contest mark a real opportunity for change and improvement in Ecuadorian education, since not only will the best teacher in the country be recognized, but they will also be given the opportunity to make visible his hard work in front of the whole world.
