Portrait of Rosalía Arteaga was placed in the Municipal Museum of Guayaquil
.
The portrait of Rosalía Arteaga was included in the Presidents Room of the Municipal Museum of Guayaquil. The placement of the painting was announced by the mayor of Guayaquil, Cynthia Viteri, on her social network Twitter.
"The history of the country must be known sincerely and completely," Viteri posted on his account on August 4, and accompanied the text with a photograph of the place where the portrait of the only president that Ecuador has had is.
For Ecuadorian women, it is positive that Arteaga's portrait is displayed on the walls of the Buenos Aires city museum and that her political work is recognized in the country's history.
