Rosalía Arteaga is appointed Honorary Counselor of FLACMA

The Consultative Council of the Latin American Federation of Cities, Municipalities and Local Government Associations (FLACMA) appointed Rosalía Arteaga, President of FIDAL and former President of Ecuador, Honorary Counselor, for the constant work and knowledge in various areas that strengthen the municipalities of the region.

The Consultative Council - officially constituted on August 31, 2018 within the framework of the Hemispheric Summit of Mayors and Local Authorities, held in Uruguay - acts as an advisory group made up of Flacma Allies and made up of personalities from public entities linked to municipal development , by representatives of academic institutions, international organizations, foundations, networks and by representatives of private companies that work in favor of the municipalities and cities of Latin America and the Caribbean.
