New young people will be trained in leadership

The Training Center for the Future (CFF), a project promoted by the FIDAL Foundation to promote the construction of youth leaders, will start next May 05 with the third program of the Leadership School.

This new edition, which had a little more than 300 applications at the national and international level, will welcome 50 young people to train them as change managers, who contribute and respect the institutional framework and strengthen the development of their peoples. The selected group will be made up of scholars, between 18 and 35 years of age, from 11 regions of Ecuador and, for the first time, the participation of students from the sister Republic of Venezuela will also be included.

The Leadership School of the Training Center for the Future will work with the new scholarship recipients over six months, between May and October 2017, with the purpose of enhancing skills in leadership, contemporary world, political explanations and solutions, ideas and social innovations, communication, negotiation, project design, among others. The academic training will be carried out under a teaching system that combines face-to-face and virtual instruction.

The first meeting of scholarship recipients will include a visit and lectures by Jaime del Arenal, Ambassador of Mexico; Fernando Lara, Spanish academic and Edgar León, Ecuadorian chef with international recognition.
