ON APRIL 25, THE BEST TEACHER OF ECUADOR WILL BE KNOWN

.

The X National and V Ibero-American Contest of Educational Excellence organized by Fundación FIDAL, enters its final stretch.

.

89 educational projects involving 660 teachers from all over Ecuador participate in the contest. The winner will win a prize of $ 10,000 and a trip to Dubai to participate in the World Teacher Award ceremony.

After an arduous evaluation by 14 national juries and a team of evaluators, of the 89 national participants, the 10 teachers and finalist projects will be determined to be evaluated by an international jury made up of important professors and education professionals from: Argentina , Chile, Colombia and Spain.

On the other hand, the special jury made up of representatives of important national and international institutions and organizations will determine the 3 finalists from among the 63 participating projects from 12 Latin American countries.

The Ibero-American winner will receive a prize of $ 5,000 and a trip to the Microsoft Education Exchange event next year.

The best Ecuadorian teacher and the best Ibero-American teacher will be awarded the Noûs for Educational Excellence and we will celebrate with them in an awards gala that will bring together national and international authorities, businessmen, professors, as well as teachers and educational institutions.

Along with them will be recognized the recipient of the 1985 Nobel Peace Prize, Ernesto Kahan , Argentine doctor, poet and writer, living in Israel. For his hard work in the International Association of Physicians for the Prevention of Nuclear War. He will be awarded the Noûs Lifetime Achievement Award for his work to promote peace and tolerance among peoples, in addition to his determined commitment to education and culture.

The award ceremony will take place on April 25 at 6:00 p.m. at the Quito Exhibition Center.
