Noelia Garella, the first teacher with Down syndrome in Argentina will be part of a discussion at the First Exhibition of Innovation and Educational Excellence.

From a very young age, Noelia Garella had a dream: to be a teacher. Given his condition and the reaction of the society in which he developed, the path to becoming a teacher was quite long and complex since he did not have the opening of several educational units to study. After a few attempts, she manages to finish school and then start her career as a kindergarten teacher in the city of Córdova, Argentina.

She graduated in 2007 and 5 years later, she managed to work in the Maternal Garden "Capullitos" as the person in charge of the early reading stimulation program, with children from 1 to 3 years old. Her passion for teaching was immediately perceived by her students and colleagues, the response was more than positive and her name began to spread among schools and kindergartens to later become an inspirational figure in the educational sector of Argentina by being the first teacher with Down syndrome in the country.

His name also crossed borders after having given several interviews for newspapers, magazines and other media, that is how his story reached the Fidal Foundation. She attracted so much attention from the members of the organization that they sought to contact her to invite her to participate in the First Exhibition of Innovation and Educational Excellence, and she agreed. He will be part of a discussion that will take place at the event on April 24 in the morning.
