Fidal presented awards to winning institutions

The FIDAL Foundation, the Ministry of Education and the Ocean Editorial Group delivered the prizes to the educational institutions, where the winners of the First Municipal Education Contest work.

During the last week, the rectors, teaching staff and students of the six awarded municipal institutions received a visit from Claudia Arteaga, executive director of FIDAL. She made the official delivery of bibliographic material that will serve to nurture the libraries of the educational units Sucre, Quitumbe, Oswaldo Lombeida, Calderón, Espejo and Fernández Madrid.

The winners received books and virtual encyclopedias from Grupo Editorial Oceano, which will be available to both teachers and students of the aforementioned municipal establishments, for a total amount that exceeds $ 35,000.

Fidal wants to thank again the teachers who work for a quality education in the capital and for participating in this course, which seeks to be an incentive for them.
