The statistics of the Educational Excellence Contest

During the afternoon of Monday, December 21, 2015, the fifteen members of the national jury received the projects of the 143 participating teachers. In this way, the 8th National Contest for Educational Excellence begins its second phase, the analysis and review of projects. 82 projects came to FIDAL offices, coming from 19 Ecuadorian provinces, the contest reached a response of 79% of the national territory. The juries will meet again the second week of January to define the projects that must be visited by FIDAL teams in educational institutions. The winning teachers of the contest, in addition to the award, will receive prizes such as scholarships, trips or material for their institution. In addition to the national contestants, 23 projects from 9 Latin American countries were presented that are part of the 3rd Latin American Competition for Educational Excellence. These will be analyzed by a special jury during the month of January. The total of the projects presented is 105 with 173 participating teachers. The winners will be known at the awards gala, next April.
