Quito, December 8, 2015
The Eighth National and Third International Competition for Educational Excellence, organized by the Fidal Foundation, enters the final stage. To date, there has been the participation of several international projects, from six Latin American countries (Colombia, Peru, Guatemala, Mexico, Argentina, Chile and Brazil), in addition to the intervention of Ecuadorian projects from the three regions of Ecuador. The total number of registered projects will undergo two stages of evaluation. The first phase will be led by a group of Ecuadorian personalities, experts in the pedagogical area. In the second period, the selected projects will be evaluated by an international jury that will be in charge of deliberating and subsequently announcing the educational projects that achieve excellence. In addition, an additional evaluation process will be handled for international projects. The Educational Excellence Contest seeks, through the participation of teachers, to improve the quality of education and increase teacher self-esteem in Ecuador and Latin America. The winning teachers will be able to enjoy scholarships and national and international internships in the specialty of teachers, book collections, but above all; recognition of their educational quality.
