
In Alexandria, there will be a debate on "Democracy in the 21st century"

The former president of Ecuador, Rosalía Arteaga Serrano, will travel to the Egyptian city of Alexandria to participate in an international conference called "Democracy in the 21st century." The meeting, which will be held at the Royal Library of Alexandria, from December 9 to 11, will feature the participation of several former state presidents, politicians, experts and academics. The objective pursued by this international meeting revolves around the analysis of the situation of nations and the challenges of the contemporary world, with the purpose of proposing strategies that guarantee the general principles of democracy. Rosalía Arteaga, will analyze the issue of Democracy in Latin America, the importance of alternation in popularly elected positions and the division of powers to counter authoritarian governments.
