Quito, December 10, 2015

Starting in 1948, on December 10 of every year, the Universal Day of Human Rights is commemorated, with the purpose of vindicating the achievement of the peoples and the Nations on the rights and human freedoms, without any distinction, guaranteeing to people a free and active participation in economic, political and social issues. Since its creation, Fidal has taken as its flag the protection of access and the right to a decent education. The Universal Declaration of Human Rights supposes an ethical-political revolution of universal scope, which arose with the intention of promoting greater equality among all the people who inhabit the world, through fair treatment by other people, entities, Nations. For this reason, it is essential to protect freedoms to guarantee that the Human Rights system functions under its characteristics: universal, inherent, indivisible, imprescriptible, individual, inalienable and inalienable.
