BREAKFAST WITH ASSEMBLY MEMBERS ON THE TOPIC "ANTI-CORRUPTION MECHANISMS IN LAC"

Last Wednesday, February 21, a breakfast was held at the Fidal Foundation facilities to discuss the topic “Anti-corruption mechanisms in LAC”. The special guest of the event was Eguiar Lizundia, specialist in governance and anti-corruption programs, and Rosalía Arteaga Serrano.

Several assembly members and communicators participated in the meeting with opinions and questions on the subject to be discussed. Some of the best known were Fernando Burbano, Gabriela Larreategui, Sebastián Palacios, Fernando Flores and Roberto Gómez. Also present were communicators and advisers to political figures.

Legislative, public and social policy proposals were presented to combat corruption. Opinions and comments on the past and current political situation in the country and the region.
.
To close the event, Rosalía Arteaga Serrano made a valuable reflection, concluding that one factor that can reduce or eradicate corruption is education. Education may be the best bet to generate a change in human behavior, making it whole and firm.

The event was a space for dialogue, exchange of perspectives, experiences, in order to motivate and expose effective methods to achieve transparency.
