On Sunday, October 2, prominent personalities from academia and politics, the diplomatic corps and renowned businessmen will witness the graduation of the second group of scholarship recipients from the Leadership School of the Training Center for the Future (CFF), a project promoted by Fidal Foundation to provide continuity to the training processes in democracy, values ​​and rights, a work that the foundation has been promoting since 2008.

In this edition, 45 young people, from 15 provinces of the three regions of Ecuador, will be part of the second class of graduates of the CFF School of Leadership.

For the graduation ceremony, which will take place on October 2, at 9:30 a.m., in the Auditorium of the Simón Bolívar Andean University (Toledo 22-80 - Plaza Brasilia), national authorities and leaders from different political sectors will meet. . In addition, there will be a keynote address by Jefferson Pérez, Olympic champion in athletic walking.

About Training Center for the Future

 

The Leadership School was born in 2015 as an initiative of the Fidal Foundation, to train new Ecuadorian leaders in social entrepreneurship, democracy, politics, communication, with a transversal axis based on values ​​and respect for human rights. From April to October of this year, scholars between 18 and 35 years of age, completed an intense blended study plan.

 

The second edition of the Leadership School will conclude with the graduation of 45 new democratic leaders, who throughout six months received keynote addresses from personalities from various fields of our country. Prior to graduation, scholarship recipients must present the projects carried out at this stage of study. At the ceremony, the Commercial Office of the Republic of China (Taiwan) will award the best essays on "Democracy in Taiwan" .
