ICC and CCQ nominate Rosalía Arteaga a benchmark in the fight against corruption

.

The Ecuadorian Chapter of the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC Ecuador) and the Quito Chamber of Commerce (CCQ) recognized Rosalía Arteaga, former president of Ecuador and president of FIDAL, for being a benchmark in the fight against corruption and promoting ethics , transparency, integrity and honesty in society.

The entities mention in their statement that "the fight against corruption is the responsibility of all actors in society, including the public and private sectors and civil society." Since 2018, they have formed the Integrity and Anticorruption Commission (CIAN), which has designed and executed campaigns and actions to promote values. One of the most important projects is called “Creole Honesty”, which was also disseminated among the young people who belonged to the FIDAL School of Leadership 2020.

This tribute was held on the occasion of December 9, International Day Against Corruption. In addition, ICC Ecuador carried out a series of virtual events, from December 8 to 11, to raise awareness about the origin and effects of this social problem.
