STEM projects unite FIDAL and Girls In Tech Ecuador

.

This Saturday, August 29, Claudia Arteaga, executive director of FIDAL, and Lourdes Serrano, director of Girls In Tech Ecuador (GIT), met in the city of Guayaquil to sign an agreement to strengthen projects and programs focused on STEM education.

With this agreement, which will last until 2020, the two institutions agreed on mutual support and coordination for the execution of activities aimed at reducing the digital divide.

GIT is a non-profit entity that is dedicated to developing actions and programs to educate girls and young people in technology and digital issues. Now, together with FIDAL, they will improve education in the country, through science and technology.

Also participating in the signing of the agreement were Melissa Nebot, Business Manager of GIT and Rosalía Arteaga, executive president of FIDAL.
