Claudia Arteaga, Executive Director of the Fidal Foundation and Director of the didactic, educational and cultural resource VERD, will be part of the speakers at the Regional Forum on Risk and Climate Change Cycle to be held in the City of Ibarra, at the GAD facilities in Imbabura.

The event is scheduled for Monday, July 4 and Tuesday, July 5, 2016. On this first day, Arteaga will participate in the Productive Development and Environmental Sustainability panel, from 2:15 p.m.

This forum is an initiative of CIFAL / UNITAR, the Provincial Government of Imbabura and the Consortium of Autonomous Governments of Ecuador CONGOPE. The objective of the event is to gather good practices from regional experiences in risk matters, strengthen local capacities to counteract the impacts of climate change in cities and achieve sustainable development through the strengthening of local capacities in territorial planning and urban management. -environmental.
