On April 5 in Quito and on April 7 in Guayaquil Microsoft Ecuador held its “T4G” TECH FOR GOOD DAY, an exclusive space for foundations and non-governmental social development organizations. The meeting allows the exchange of experiences, the generation of strategic alliances and the empowerment of the management of these entities through technology with Microsoft and also fosters interaction with the country's priority projects.
This year the FIDAL Foundation, which is an organization with 18 years of experience and service, was in charge of exposing its experience using Microsoft Philanthropies technological tools. Since 2015, this organization saw in this alliance with Microsoft an opportunity to modernize and implement tools that allow them greater efficiency, mobility and innovation.
"This opportunity has allowed us to be more productive as an organization in our daily work, but also in the way we interact with our partners, allies and beneficiaries." Comments Andrea Pazmiño, Director of Projects of FIDAL.
The company has worked with a large number of organizations, foundations, educational institutions or government agencies that share the common goal of offering communities better social and economic opportunities for their development through the use of technological tools. The Annual Meeting with NGOs allows attendees to explore the role of technology as a mechanism to achieve their social objectives, get closer to the successful experiences of other organizations and receive training in the use of Microsoft tools and technologies.
Juan Carlos Cisneros, Manager of Microsoft Ecuador, states: "Technology is a very versatile tool that allows developing great ideas, we are pleased that Microsoft programs are used to meet these objectives"
Between Quito and Guayaquil, 180 NGOs have been invited and this invitation has been extended to civil society organizations throughout Ecuador. These organizations work in some areas such as: education, health, democracy, technology, rights, entrepreneurship, etc .; All have the interest of enhancing their work through the use of technology. #ChangeTheWorld TOGETHER
