Eduardo Castro Rios

Chilean, professor and master's degree in Hispanic Literature, with specializations in Higher Education, University Management and Cultural Administration. He has a doctorate in Human Sciences. He is director of the Latin American Master's Program in Cultural and Literary Studies at the Universidad de los Lagos de Chile. He has been president of the International Cooperation Commission of the Council of Rectors of Chilean universities and, for more than a decade, he has been in charge of the General Secretariat of the Network of Latin American Regional Universities (RED UREL).

He participates in the board of directors of Fidal, has been a jury in the Educational Excellence Contest and chairs the Committee for the Study of the Integration of Latin American and Caribbean Higher Education. He is a consultant to UNESCO.
