Educational leaders learn about Internet safety

Thanks to the initiative of the FIDAL Foundation and Guardian Kids, directors of educational institutions in the capital received timely information about risks on the Internet and how to combat them, this Tuesday, November 20.
Rosalía Arteaga, executive president of FIDAL, mentioned that in all the experience that the Foundation has in the educational field, she has noticed a great concern of parents and teachers about cyber risks, more and more children have digital access to more Danger areas such as bullying, pornography, cyberbullying, etc.
For this reason, Guardian Kids - a computer tool for monitoring, detecting and alerting digital content not suitable for minors - decided to inform the directors of educational establishments about the importance of Internet control.
Martha Ponce, general manager of Guardian Kids, explained that an international study revealed that a cyber provider takes 12 to 15 minutes to obtain information about their victim, just to cite an example of the many risks that children are exposed to. and students daily.
