Arteaga focused her dialogue on gender equality and the challenges that still exist to reach a political position and stressed that "education is the key to all changes."
In addition, he shared with the attendees his time as president and the prevailing machismo of the time: "The Ecuadorian political class saw it as a danger for a woman to remain president of the Republic," he mentioned.
#NoEsElCosto "Stop political violence against women", is a global campaign focused on eradicating violence against women in political spaces through actions for their identification, prevention and attention.
The event was held on July 30, in Bogotá, Colombia, in the presence of authorities and special guests.
