III Conference of Women Quito 2016

On November 30, within the framework of the 482 Anniversary of the Quito Foundation, the III Conference of Women 2016 will be held, in order to commemorate the International Day against Violence against Women.
The event, which will take place at 09:00, in the City Hall, will feature the participation of Rosalía Arteaga, former president of the State and president of the Fidal Foundation Advisory Council, who will give a talk on the role of the women in muticulturalism, plurinationalism and globalization.
The event organized by the National Representation of the Peace Program, with the endorsement of the Municipality of the Metropolitan District of Quito, aims to generate a space for knowledge, reflection, debate and preparation of proposals about gender equality and autonomy of women, representativeness and its leadership of entrepreneurship at the business level, citizen participation, human rights, national and international politics and social responsibility.
300 young people from schools, universities and civil organizations will be part of the meeting and will share with women representatives of various State entities, members of the Diplomatic Corps, businesswomen, professors, communicators and leaders of civil society.
