39 educational projects compete for the Noûs for excellence

The night of April 19 will be full of surprises to reward the best teachers from Ecuador and Latin America. 39 finalist projects for the Noûs for Educational Excellence, 7 life history awards, among them the Pies Descalzos Foundation, led by Shakira, 25 artists on stage and the special participation of the Australian singer-songwriter Alston Koch.

The Ninth National and Fourth Ibero-American Educational Excellence Contest, organized by the Fidal Foundation, entered the final stretch. 39 projects compete for the “Noûs” statuette, the highest educational award, which represents the effort, dedication and excellence achieved by teachers.

All the participating projects were evaluated by important professors, who made up the national jury. Of the total international works, coming from 7 countries in the region (Venezuela, Colombia, Peru, Brazil, Guatemala, Mexico and Spain), 5 go to the grand final along with the 34 best-scored projects in Ecuador. The evaluation that will give the results is still missing, a responsibility that will fall on the international jury, made up of renowned personalities from the academic world, from Spain, Chile and Cuba.

The “Noûs” Awards will be given to teachers with educational projects of excellence and together with them, national and international personalities who have made history for their contribution to the social, cultural and educational improvement of their communities will also receive the award.
