Since Sunday, April 17, Fundación FIDAL began a campaign to collect donations and deliver them to the coastal areas affected by the earthquake that struck Ecuador on Saturday night, April 16.
Fidal invites Ecuadorians to join forces and donate water, canned goods, sugar, salt, energy bars, hydrating drinks, awnings, tents, blankets, soap, toothpaste, toilet paper, alcohol, repellent, disposable plates, medicines, mattresses, among other products that are needed in the affected places.
Donations will be received until Friday, April 22, at the Fundación Fidal facilities, located at Carlos Montúfar E13-352 and El Monitor streets (Bellavista sector), where the donated packages are being classified and organized and then transferred to Jama, Canoa, San Vicente, Portoviejo and other sectors affected by the earthquake.
