Until December 10, 2018, the Foundation for the Integration and Development of Latin America (FIDAL) keeps the call open for teachers from Ecuador and Latin America to participate in the Educational Excellence Contest.

This Contest will reward the best educational project developed by Ecuadorian teachers and the best Ibero-American, with an economic incentive of $ 10,000 and $ 5,000, respectively. In addition to trips abroad, scholarships for master's studies and decorations for the finalists.

The competing projects must be original, demonstrating and documenting their implementation, results and relevant aspects. Teachers of the initial, basic and high school education levels can participate. The bases can be found on the Foundation's website: www.fidal-amlat.org.

The Educational Excellence Contest is aimed at strengthening education and motivating educators, both from Ecuador and Latin America, to convince them that they are transformers of society through teaching.

In recent weeks, Rosalía Arteaga Serrano, executive president of the FIDAL Foundation, has visited several schools in the country to motivate teachers to participate in the 11th National and 6th Ibero-American Educational Excellence Contest; to convince them that their ideas are valuable for improving the quality of education and teaching.

Throughout these ten years of uninterrupted implementation of the Contest, 2,048 teachers, about 1,156 projects, 14 Ibero-American countries, 71 Nous Awards and 73 Honorable Mentions have participated.
