Poems turned into songs

.

Rosalía Arteaga, tireless in her literary work, gives us a magnificent surprise. One of her poetry books, “Conjuros”, is set to music by the composer Eduardo Neira, who transforms the poems of the Former President of Ecuador into songs that may be sung by Ecuadorians of all ages, especially by those who feel the magic of the words spoken in Bossa Nova, Bolero and other rhythms that harmonize perfectly and that suggest that romanticism and good words do not die.

Rosalía Arteaga collects experiences, words in different languages, she is seduced by the rhythm and musicality of certain words, which in her hands are transformed and take on unusual flights.

The CD Conjuros, which was recently presented to the large public that gathered at the Casa de Cuenca in Quito, circulates from November 17, together with the newspaper El Universo, which thus promotes national culture and art.

Rosalía Arteaga is a prolific author of 14 books in various literary genres. It is now poetry that he prefers to reach young readers and those who want to enjoy the beauty of the written word.
