Drafting Fidal

FIDAL Foundation, pursuing excellence in education in Ecuador and Latin America, will hold a training seminar on April 12 and 13 that is totally free and open to all teachers who work at the primary and secondary level. This training is an abbreviation of the awarding of the VIII National and III Latin American Contest of Educational Excellence.

The seminar will have the participation of at least 120 Ecuadorian educators, who will receive talks in different areas such as writing techniques, technological innovations, student counseling, among others. This educational party will take place from 9 in the morning, at the Saint Dominic School retirement home, in La Armenia ( see map ), with the participation of at least 10 national and international speakers.

Speakers:

Dalia Maria Noboa:

Doctor in Educational Sciences and Educational Administration, specialized in Spanish, Literature and Stylistics. Member of the team that proposed and executed the Curriculum Reform in the country, at the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sports. Pedagogical Deputy Director of the EB / PRODEC project. Pedagogical advisor to the Ecuadorian Air Force. Postgraduate professor at the Private Technical University of Loja, the Catholic University of Ecuador and the Santiago de Guayaquil University. Edinacho editor; Vice President of the Ecuadorian Society of Conceptual Pedagogy. National Assembly Adviser.

Daniel López Stefoni:

Graduate in Biology and Doctor in Biological Sciences, specialist in Coastal Ecology and Marine Aquaculture. Studies in Leadership and Management of Universities. Consultant and postgraduate teacher in University Management. He has held various positions such as; First Rector and Vice-Rector for Planning and Development of the University of Los Lagos. Professor at the University of Los Lagos, Chile and visiting professor at other Chilean and Latin American universities. Founding President of the Network of Regional Universities of Latin America. Director of the Foundation for the Integration and Development of Latin America (FIDAL). Consultant of the Ministry of Education, of the National Accreditation Commission of Chile. Member of the Council of Agricultural Sciences of the Accreditation Agency. President of the Southern Council of Rectors of Chile; Director and Treasurer of the Council of State Universities of Chile. He is an evaluator of research projects at Latin American universities.

Aurelio Barrios:

Cuban, doctor in pedagogy, Master in Educational Research. He has worked in various engineering schools and has held responsibilities as Vice Chancellor, Dean and Head of Department. Visiting professor at prestigious universities. He is currently a pedagogical adviser professor at the SEK University of Quito.

Alberto Thieroldt Alfaro:

Bachelor in Sociology, Bachelor of Education and a Master's Degree in Children's and Youth Literature. As a writer for LIJ, he has published the books Valentino y la lie de Duque, Trial at the zoo, The farce, Who is the most important, The wave (Norma), Cherry world (Planet) and The painted faces (SM Editions). He is a researcher at LIJ and as such writes and publishes articles and essays in Peruvian and foreign media, such as in the Ibero-American Yearbook on the Children's and Youth Book of Spain, in the Bolivian virtual magazine Vuelan Vuelan, in the Spanish blog Anatarambana, among others. . He has participated as a speaker in various national and international forums on Children's and Youth Literature such as the II International Congress of LIJ de Norma in Peru in 2012, the II CILELIJ and the SM Foundation in Colombia in 2013 and the IX International Seminar of LIJ of the Bolivian Academy of Children's and Youth Literature in Bolivia in 2015. He was also a jury for the 2016 LIJ International Norma Award. He has been a professor at several universities in Peru; San Ignacio de Loyola University (USIL), University of Sciences and Arts of Latin America (UCAL) and the Peruvian University Cayetano Heredia. As a promoter of reading, he has advised various organizations such as publishers and schools on issues related to the Reading Plan. And he is currently the Publisher of Children's and Youth Literature of Editorial Norma in Peru.
