Arteaga encourages teachers to participate for Educational Excellence
Quito, November 29, 2016
A few days after the end of the term for the application of educational projects in the Ninth National and Fourth Latin American Contest of Educational Excellence, the former president of the Republic, former Minister of Education and current president of the Fidal Foundation Advisory Council, Rosalía Arteaga, visits several schools in the country inviting teachers to register their projects and participate for Educational Excellence.
During the week of November 28 to December 2, Fidal has scheduled a visit to several establishments in the Los Chillos Valley, among which are: the Darío Figueroa Educational Unit, the Juan Montalvo Educational Unit, the Jacinto Jijón and Caamaño Educational Unit, Educativa Carlos Larco Hidalgo and Unidad Educativa Juan Salinas where talks and advice will be given for the application of projects.
This proposal, which reaches its ninth edition, seeks to improve educational quality and increase teachers' self-esteem. The winners will have access to international visits, scholarships for postgraduate studies, among other prizes.
