
Arteaga receives the degree of Academic of Honor

The Royal European Academy of Doctors will confer the degree of Academic of Honor to the former president of Ecuador, Rosalía Arteaga, for her extensive career and vocation of service at the national and international level, in favor of education, the environment and international relations.

On Wednesday, June 8, the solemn session will take place for the proclamation of Erik Maskin, Nobel Prize in Economics in 2007; Ernesto Kahan, Nobel Peace Prize winner in 1995; Rosalía Arteaga, former president of Ecuador and member of the Board of Directors of the Library of Alexandria; and Leslie Griffith as honorary scholars of the Royal European Academy of Doctors-Barcelona 1914 (RAED).

The Royal Academy of Doctors has members, coming from Law and Economics, Medicine and Psychology, Physics and Engineering, Geography and Anthropology, who make up a bundle of research paths that aspire to build a knowledge of encounter about nature and culture, in which man can live.
